Server Logfiles

Every time you visit our website, your browser transmits access data, so-called server log files, which we process to ensure system security and to protect us from attacks and errors. With these

- the time of the server request, i.e. the time of your visit,
- the page from which you visit us (referrer URL),
- Your IP address,
- the host name of the accessing computer,
- the operating system you are using and
- the type of browser you are using and the browser version you are using

transmitted to us. This data is required to ensure system security, e.g. to identify and block the attacker in the event of a hacker attack. This is in our legitimate interest (Art. 6 I 1 f EU-DSGVO). We anonymise the IP address immediately after collection, which means that the data can no longer be related to a person; we delete the anonymised data after 9 weeks at the latest. With this data, an evaluation for statistical purposes is also possible (scope of use and user behaviour, e.g. sum of calls to our website in a month in total or related to various sub-pages that we use to optimise the design of the website. Since we only use data records with anonymised IP addresses, no personal data is processed.

Contact: Form and e-mail function

You have the option of contacting us directly via a contact form on our website. If you do this, you must enter your name, your e-mail address, the subject and your message; you can also voluntarily enter your telephone number. We record the data you submit, your message as well as your IP address and the time at which you submit the form. We only use the information you send us to process your request; we delete it as soon as the communication has been completed, unless legal storage obligations require us to store it. We need your IP address and the time when you use the contact form for security reasons; this enables us to identify automated accesses and hacker attacks and prevent them from happening again. 

Google Maps

We use Google Maps to show you our location. We have integrated Google Maps into our website so that we can show you the corresponding map directly on the website.
Google Maps is a service offered by Google Ireland Ltd. By visiting our website, Google receives information, in particular your IP address and the information about which page you are currently visiting, regardless of whether you use the Google Maps map or not. As Google is a US company, it cannot be ruled out that your data will also be transferred to the USA. However, an appropriate level of data protection is guaranteed because Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield (list available at https://www.privacyshield.gov/list).

Embedding the map enables us to make our offer more attractive and interesting for you and is therefore in our overriding, legitimate corporate interest (Art. 6 I 1 f EU-DSGVO).

Social Media: Facebook, Xing und YouTube

We use offers from the social media provider Facebook on our website. This offers our visitors various opportunities for social interaction.
The links to Facebook's social media offerings, which you can access via icons or graphic links, enable you to share our offering with others, communicate about our activities or view our offering there. If you click on the respective offers, you can log in to the respective provider with your account and then share our offer with others or view our offers there and communicate with other users about our offers. Information is only ever transmitted to this third-party provider when you click on one of the links; the icons or graphic links integrated by us on our website are therefore designed to be "deactivated".
If you click on the icons or graphic links, a new window opens in your browser and your data is transmitted to the respective provider, in particular the page from which you came. This also applies if you do not have your own account with the provider or are not logged in.
We have no influence on what personal data this third-party provider collects and how it handles this data. We are also not aware of this. You can obtain further information on the handling of your data from the respective third-party providers.

The parent companies of Facebook and Google (Google is responsible for YouTube in terms of data protection) are based in the USA. Insofar as personal data is transferred there, an adequate level of data protection is ensured via the EU-US Privacy Shield, to which the provider has subjected itself (list available at https://www.privacyshield.gov/list). 
Through the social media links, we enable you to connect even further and thus present you with a more attractive offer; in addition, you can conveniently share our offers with others in various ways. We thus make our website and our social media offers more attractive and interesting for you. Embedding the social media links is therefore in our legitimate corporate interest (Art. 6 I 1 f EU-DSGVO). By actively clicking on the links, you can decide yourself whether personal data will be transmitted to the third-party providers. 

Google WebFonts

Our website uses Google WebFonts, a service provided to us by Google Inc. This service enables us to provide you with our website in a uniformly visually appealing manner with the help of the font library obtained from it. This is done by loading the fonts used on this website through the browser you are using and then displaying them.

According to our information, the browser you use establishes a connection to the servers of our service provider and the information is recorded that our website was accessed with the IP address you used. It is possible that your IP address will also be transmitted to the USA. Google's certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield ensures an appropriate level of data protection (list available at https://www.privacyshield.gov/list).

A uniform and visually attractive design of our website is in our overriding, legitimate interest (Art. 6 I 1 f EU-DSGVO). Neither a user analysis nor a user profile is created; your IP address is only used for the targeted transmission of fonts.

Data security

In order to protect your personal data in the best possible way, we use technical and organisational security measures in the form of TLS encryption (https standard), which are also adapted to the current state of the art in accordance with the risks involved. 

Data subjects' rights

Insofar as personal data is used that relates to you as a natural person, you are entitled to various data protection claims against us. In accordance with Section 34 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and Article 15 of the EU Data Protection Regulation (EU-DSGVO), you have the right to information about the data stored about you and its origin, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom data is disclosed and the purpose for which it is stored; you may also request that a copy be sent to you.
In addition, you may be entitled to have your personal data corrected, deleted or restricted (from processing), as well as to data portability, in accordance with § 35 BDSG, Art. 16-20 EU-DSGVO.
In addition, you can object to the further processing of your data if we process your data on the basis of a legitimate interest (Art. 6 I 1 f EU-DSGVO); insofar as we do not process your data for advertising purposes, a special reason is required for this. In the event of an objection, we will no longer process your personal data from receipt during the subsequent examination and will delete it after completion of the examination - in the event of a justified objection (§ 36 BDSG, Art. 21 EU-DSGVO). You can revoke any consent you have given us for data processing (Art. 6 I 1 a EU-DSGVO) at any time; we will then no longer process your personal data and will delete it, unless there is a legal permission for further processing. An objection or a revocation does not affect the permissibility of data processing in the past.
If you believe that data processing violates data protection law, you have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority of your choice (Art. 77 DSGVO in conjunction with § 19 BDSG).
